The word “Yogini” is derived from “Yog”, which means combination. The wisdom of Yogini is a medium to develop the enlightenment state by combining the mind, body, and speech. Yogini is also recognized as one who gives birth to the wisdom of emptiness (shunyata). The Yoginis are often portrayed nude as a representation of nature.
