This was my first time participating in a residency program, and naturally, I was quite nervous in the beginning—not knowing exactly what to create or how to begin. But one of my favorite aspects of the experience was the location itself—the Patan Museum. Working in such a culturally rich and historically significant place felt inspiring.
During the residency, I had the chance to explore traditional Nepali art styles more deeply, which helped me expand my artistic vocabulary. While the program was called a "residency," it mostly felt like having access to a dedicated studio space. That said, I’m still incredibly grateful for the opportunity.
I met many new and interesting people, explored a new direction in my own artistic practice, and most importantly, had the honor of showcasing my work at the Museum of Nepali Art (MoNA). It was a meaningful step in my journey as an artist.
