About the Art

This painting feels cosmic. The two faces inside the black circle are subtle, emerging from cracked light and soft lines, embraced by a sea of other smaller, barely-there faces. There’s a sensation of being both observed and surrounded—as though the central couple exists at the core of something much larger: a universe of memory, voices, and relationships. The blue outer ring almost feels planetary, orbital. Love as gravity, maybe? Or the self and the other encased in the ever-spinning rhythm of time and people? This painting isn’t loud. It’s quiet, dense, and profound. The palette—muted greys, gentle yellows, quiet blues—suggests intimacy without drama. There’s no need for the couple to be defined by perfection. Instead, they are sheltered within a world of layered presence.
