About the Art

The Radha Krishna is the symbol that depicts a divine love. Their relationship is deemed so pure that it cannot be restricted to merely a romantic, physical relationship between a man and a woman. Worshippers believe that Krishna is the eighteenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, one of the Trimurti (the Holy Trinity). Radha is also believed to be the manifestation of Goddess Laxmi, Lord Vishnu’s consort. Radha's devotion and unconditional love for Krishna can be seen as the metaphor for the soul that longs for and merges with the divine. This is also the union between a man and God.
