About the Art

In these paintings, two souls appear as one. The lines between “I” and “You” are soft, dissolving into each other like a dream halfway remembered. The forms are abstract, but their tenderness is unmistakable. The way the faces lean, the way color holds emotion—this is intimacy captured not in detail, but in feeling.

Kiran Manandhar’s couple series isn’t about portraying lovers in a traditional sense. It’s about the invisible things that hold people together: memory, longing, chaos, and silence. The palette is striking—red for passion, yellow for warmth, and violet for something unspoken. The brushwork is erratic, unrefined, and raw—like love itself.
