In ancient times, there were no water taps in households. Women used to travel to nearby rivers, wells, brooks and dunge dhaaraas (stone water spouts) to collect drinking water and water for cooking and washing. However, though every household has a water tap today, there is scarcity of water. The artist portrays the irony of modern water systems.
