About the Art

Part of the artist’s ongoing exploration of the sacred feminine, this work distills emotion into minimal form and bold contrast. Against a void-like black field, a motherly figure emerges — defined by luminous lines holding an infant close. Her face, rendered in the artist’s signature stylized form, carries a quiet resolve and grace.

Surrounding the darkness are bands of vivid colors—red, yellow, violet, and blue—evoking the presence of life, emotions, and spiritual polarity. The composition speaks to the resilience of love even when shrouded in shadow.
Here, femininity is drawn not in detail but in essence — intuitive, nurturing, and divine. This painting, like others in the series, transforms abstract silhouettes into timeless expressions of womanhood and inner strength.
