This painting depicts Vidhyādhārī Ākāśa Yoginī, also known as Vijesvarī, the celestial Yoginī associated with the sacred landscape of Nepal Mandala and Patan’s Mahabouddha tradition. At the center, the goddess appears within a flaming maṇḍalic field, embodying transcendent wisdom and the transformative power of awakening.

The composition incorporates Gaṇeśa and Mahākāla as protective guardians, while the Buddha presides above, linking the Yoginī to enlightenment. The seated figure of Abhay Rāj Śākya references the founder of the Mahabouddha Temple, established after his pilgrimage to Bodhgayā and completed across three generations within the family courtyard.
