A sound work rooted in memory and lived tradition, Bhavana draws from Kiran Nepali’s upbringing between Gandarba musical heritage and Newar ritual culture. Bhawana
Kiran Nepali, a leading Sarangi musician, presents a musical interpretation of Bhavana rooted in memory and cultural experience. Drawing from his childhood in Kirtipur and his heritage as a Gandarba artist, the composition brings together the melodic voice of the Sarangi with the rhythmic traditions of Newar ritual music.
