About
Born in 1982, Maharjan shared, 'I studied study in Nandi High School, and it was here my teacher, Gajendra Man Shrestha, introduced me to art. He inspired me and he taught me. I went on to study for 2 years at Fine Art College. On leaving college I started to paint, especially of the traditional school of art, but I have not exhibited any of my art.
Mr. Rajan Shakya, CEO at Kathmandu Guest House, encouraged me, with providing space for my work at MONA. I worked in Malaysia for 3 years, and have traveled in Netherlands and France.'
