About

Saif is a self-taught artist who finds serenity in capturing the graceful curves of nature and the human body through his art. With a multidisciplinary approach, he passionately explores the intriguing elements of the natural world, employing various mediums such as graphite and charcoal, pen and ink, watercolor, oils, and digital canvas. Saif's artistic expression extends to whatever tools are readily available, allowing his creativity to flow unhindered.

Originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, Saif has had the opportunity to live and travel across Central Asia, Europe, and America. In 2021, he was honored with the prestigious Chevening scholarship for his postgraduate studies in Digital Teaching and Learning at the University of Nottingham in the UK. In 2013, he co-founded Open Space Nepal, an organization dedicated to youth empowerment and activism through media. Saif went on to co-found Canopy Nepal in 2015, with a focus on education and creativity in learning.

Learning is at the core of Saif's values, and he eagerly embraces any chance to expand his knowledge. His curious and open-minded nature has allowed him to learn over seven languages, including Urdu, Maithili, Spanish, Turkish, and Russian. Feel free to strike up a conversation with him in any of these languages, as he enjoys practicing and engaging with others.

In his free time, you'll find Saif sketching on his iPad or doodling on his trusty sketchbook that he carries wherever he goes. He also enjoys pondering the mysteries of reality and discovering the profound connections between creativity and existence.

Saif's artistic journey reflects his unwavering dedication, love for learning, and deep admiration for the beauty of nature and the human spirit. Through his art, he invites others to join him in exploring the intricate wonders of life, stroke by stroke.
