Hari Prasad Sharma, born in 1937 in Kathmandu, is renowned for his realistic paintings showcasing Nepal's history and common people's lives. He has won several national awards and has been featured in a book titled "Nepal Down the Ages." His son, Bishnu Prasad, has supported him throughout his art journey, providing research, guidance, and emotional support.

Hari Prasad Sharma's paintings depict historical events, culture, traditions, and lifestyles in the Kathmandu valley, using visual memory, old photographs, history books, and interactions with historians. His distinctive style features large group composition, detailed research, and three-dimensional effects.
