The Kila or Phurba is the three-sided peg, stake, or nail-like ritual implement associated with Indo-Tibetan Buddhism, Bōn, as well as Indian Vedic traditions. The Vajra Kila signifies a sense of stability on a prayer ground during any ceremonies. The Kila represents fierce, wrathful, piercing, and affixing energy.
