About the Art

The name Vajrayogini indicates that Tantric teachings in Buddhism and are closely associated with Vajrayana. In the highest yoga tantra, Vajrayogini is part of the class of deities known as Dakini. She is also called “Naro-Dakini” and “Ugra Tara”. Often seen as the heavenly form of the Buddha who manifested in Mahasiddha Naropa’s insight meditational vision.
