About the Art

Kurukulla is a tantric goddess of Vajrayana Buddhism emanating from Dhyani Buddha Amitabha and associated with the Lotus Family from which she inherited her red complexion. She is the goddess of enchantment, magnetism, and love, and is also known as Rigjema; mistress of knowledge in Tibetan. She is often recognized by her grip on a bow and arrow composed of pink lotuses.
