About the Art

The name Amoghapasa Lokesvara means “Lord of the world with infallible noose” that leads the suffering sentient beings into enlightenment. The Amoghapasa Lokesvara has one face and eight hands. On the right, he carries prayer beads and a Trishula. Likewise, on the left hand, he carries a lotus, a holy book, a noose, and a holy water vessel. The artwork comprises all the 108 Lokesvara with Amoghapasa Lokesvara in the middle.
